Step into the world of American barbecue and learn what it really takes to cook ribs the right way.

In this hands-on class, Isaac will guide you through the fundamentals of low & slow cooking, from preparing the meat to building layers of flavor that define great BBQ. You’ll learn how to trim and season ribs, mix your own spice rub, and understand the role of different BBQ techniques.

We’ll focus on how to prepare great BBQ ribs using equipment you have at home, and we’ll talk about how to turn an outdoor grill into a smoker.

The class also includes classic BBQ sides such as mac & cheese, coleslaw and vinegar pickles, as well as making your own Kansas City-style BBQ sauce used for glazing.

Isaac Starobin / Isaac´s BBQ

Isaac has been working with fire, smoke and meat for most of his professional life. Originally from the United States, he gained experience in top New York restaurants such as BLT Steak and Craft, where he built strong foundations in technique and discipline.

He later focused on American barbecue, mastering the craft of low & slow cooking - from brisket and ribs to whole cuts prepared over wood fire. Today, at Isaac's BBQ, he combines traditional barbecue techniques with influences from different cultures.

Isaac’s approach is simple: quality ingredients, patience and respect for the process. For him, great BBQ takes time and it’s meant to be shared.
